NGC 134 is a barred spiral galaxy in Sculptor and about 60 million light years away. From our vantage point it is tilted halfway between face-on and edge-on.

Imaged by SSRO/PROMPT/CTIO in 2009 using a 16″ RCOS @ f/11.3 and an Apogee U9 on a Paramount ME. Image scale 0.41″/pixel. LRGB with 4.5 hours Lum and 3 hours/channel RGB. Calibration in Maxim, alignment/integration in PixInsight, deconvolution in PixInsight, and the rest in Photoshop.
