Have you tried streaking across a bridge?…this comet has.
On July 18, 2020 I imaged Neowise Comet from Lambertville, NJ. I was situated on the Lambertville side of the bridge that connects with New Hope, PA. This composite uses about 25 exposures with my Canon 6D Mark II with a 50 mm f/1.8 lens on a stationary tripod — all comet exposures were 5 sec at ISO 1600, and the aperture varied between f/2.8 and f/4. Shorter exposures were used for the bridge. Processing was in Sequator and Photoshop.
Despite the proximity to major metropolitan centers (Philadelphia and NYC), the ion tail is faintly visible!
